Pretty much everyone loves pie. Whether you lean toward apple or blueberry, key lime, pecan or even pizza, there’s a pie for nearly every preference. And while pie does have its own official holiday, in January, plenty of people also eat it to celebrate another holiday in March.

Pi Day, a day to honor the mathematical constant “pi,” which was recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives in a non-binding resolution in 2009, lands every year on March 14 — or 3.14. (Pi, for those of you who didn’t pay attention in math class, equals approximately 3.14159, which is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.)

Plenty of restaurant chains offer freebies and deals on pie and pizza pie, to help fans of both pi and pie to mark the day. Here are a few deals to help you celebrate.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings: For Pi Day this year, the pizza and wings chain is offering 31.4 percent off a large 16-inch pizza when you dine-in on March 14.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: BJ’s is celebrating Pi Day by offering dine-in guests the chance to purchase one regular, full-size Pizookie dessert (any flavor) on March 14 and get a second one for $3.14.

Blaze Pizza: The fast-casual pizza chain is celebrating Pi Day 2025 with a BOGO deal: Customers can buy one 11-inch pizza and get a second 11-inch pizza of equal or lesser value for $3.14. Plus, any guest who takes advantage of the in-restaurant Pi Day deal on March 14 will get a code they can redeem any time through the end of March in the Blaze Pizza app to get another buy one, get one for $3.14 pizza deal.

Burger King: Burger King is inviting its Royal Perks members to count down to (and just past) Pi Day with a full week of daily breakfast offers, March 9 through 15. With a purchase of one dollar or more, the chain will offer a free Croissan’wich on March 9, a free four-piece order of Churro Fries on March 10, a free medium Iced Coffee on March 11 and a free five-piece order of French Toast Sticks on March 12, a free large Hash Browns on March 13. On National Pi Day itself, March 14, the chain is offering a free Hershey Pie with a purchase of $3.14 or more. And on the day after Pi Day, March 15, you can recover from the numerical excitement with a free Sausage Biscuit with a purchase of one dollar or more.
