The lemonade-and-beer pub drink known as shandy gets a margarita makeover by substituting lime for lemon and adding tequila for kick. The effervescence of the beer really takes this refreshing drink to the next level.

  1. To a pitcher, add the sugar and warm water, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the lime juice and tequila. Mix to combine and pour over glasses filled with ice and top with the beer. Serve garnished with mint sprigs.
