Flavors of the moment come and go, but occasionally food brands find one with enough sticking power to launch a whole new category of products. Dill pickles seem to fit that bill, as we’ve seen everything from pickle-flavored potato chips to pickle ketchup and pickle pistachios in the grocery store. Now, fried chicken chain Popeyes is bringing the brine to its restaurants with an all-new Popeyes Pickle Menu.
Right now, you can taste some of Popeyes’ classic items, plus a couple of new additions, with an added sour and savory hint of pickles. On its chicken, this comes in the form of a new Pickle Glaze, essentially a slightly spicy and pickle-forward sauce. Read on to see the full menu offerings and what I thought of the glaze, plus the new pickle side dish and, yes, pickle drink.
As for new takes on its usual chicken, the Popeyes Pickle Menu includes:

Pickle Glaze Sandwich — think Popeyes’ Classic Chicken Sandwich chicken dipped in a pickle glaze, plus the usual thick-cut dill pickle slices on a brioche bun. Pickle Glaze Bone-In Wings — Popeyes’ signature crispy wings dipped in a pickle glaze. Pickle Glaze Boneless Wings — hand-battered chicken breast pieces coated in the pickle glaze. The glaze isn’t overly-pickle flavored, but it did add a nice, slightly spicy kick and tang to the chicken. As someone who usually orders Popeyes spicy versions of its chicken rather than original, I found it to be a nice in-between level of flavor and heat on both the wings and the sandwich.
As totally new items, the Popeyes Pickle Menu introduces:
Fried Pickles — exactly what you’d expect, pickle slices battered in Popeyes seasoning and served with buttermilk ranch dipping sauce. These sides popped up in Canada a few months ago, but are a new item to the U.S. Maybe it was just the batch I got, but some were your more traditionally juicy pickles covered in crispy batter, while some were fried crispy all the way through. (Honestly, not bad either way.)

And finally, Pickle Lemonade — a sweet and savory mix of lemonade and a slight pickle brine flavor. I found it to be sweet but not too sweet, and the pickle flavor was more in the aroma than in the actual drink, but it did have a nice rounded, sourness to it instead of the usual bright lemon flavor.
The menu dropped on April 1, 2025 causing some to wonder if the whole thing was a joke. But in all seriousness, this limited-time-only menu is available at Popeyes locations nationwide. Curious pickle fans can even order the Pickle Bundle, which conveniently includes six boneless wings, fried pickles and a pickle lemonade.
