Popeyes Is Bringing Its Most Popular Sauces to Grocery Aisles
No longer will you have to hoard packets of Mardi Gras Mustard, Sweet Heat or Blackened Ranch.

When visiting Popeyes, it may be for its famous spicy chicken sandwich, wings or tenders. It could even be for popcorn shrimp or Cajun fries. But, as with any fast food fried chicken spot, the sauce is going to be a big part of the experience.
Whether for dipping or pouring onto a sandwich, it’s the sauce that brings a menu item to the next level – and Popeyes has a lot of sauces. From sweet to spicy to savory, there’s a sauce for every palate. But these sauces are ones you’ll have to enjoy in the moment, as there may be many options, but a Popeyes location is the only place you can snag them.
Until now, that is. Popeyes is now putting the mass in mass appeal, as some of the chain’s most popular sauces will now be available in the grocery aisle at select retailers nationwide. This includes Blackened Ranch, a blend of blackened seasoning blend with buttermilk ranch; as well as Sweet Heat, which pairs sweet honey with a spicy Aleppo pepper hot sauce; and Mardi Gras Mustard, which blends creole mustard and horseradish.
The best part of Popeyes sauces now being at the grocery store? Now, you’re not limited to using them on your Popeyes order (nor how much sauce a small packet can hold). So, feel free to drizzle some Sweet Heat on pizza, or pair that Mardi Gras Mustard with your steak sandwich. These sauces now have way more potential than they ever had before – and that’s saying a lot because I’ve used that Sweet Heat on a lot of orders!
Blackened Ranch and Sweet Heat will be available March 15 in 18-ounce bottles at retailers that include Albertsons, Kroger, Food Lion, Walmart and Amazon. Mardi Gras Mustard will be rolling out at select grocers as well soon – but you'll have to wait until later this spring.
